Trade training centre

A new initiative at Eagle Vale High School officially commenced on Term 2, 2011. The Trade Training Centre of Excellence is a result of extensive consultation with our industry partners, parents, students and government agencies. We are proud of our achievement in delivering real trade-oriented education and training outcomes for our students in Certificate I in Metal and Engineering.

Skills development

We have structured our course to provide best industry standard skills development of our students from early stages of high school. Commencing from Year 7 and 8 mandatory technology metal strand, leading to Year 9 industrial technology metal and electives choice in engineering. Students then have an opportunity to further enhance their skills by enrolling in VET Certificate I in Manufacturing in Year 10, and can choose to undertake pre-apprenticeship course over 12 months in partnership with Mg My Gateway, a registered training organisation with specialisation in metal and engineering apprenticeship management.
